The basics
What is Film My Events?
A digital disposable camera for events. Each guest scans your QR code and gets a camera on their phone with 24 shots and film filters. Every photo lands in your private gallery as it’s taken.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. It runs in the phone’s browser on any iPhone or Android. Guests scan the QR, type their name and email, and start shooting.
Why only 24 shots?
Like a real disposable camera, a limited roll makes people choose their moments, so you get fewer blurry duplicates and more real memories.
Which events is it for?
Weddings, birthdays, company annual dinners, graduations, open houses, reunions, trips: any event where guests are taking photos anyway.
Photos & privacy
Who can see the photos?
You, and anyone you share your private gallery link with. Each guest can see their own roll. Nothing is public, and photos are never used for advertising.
Can I remove a photo?
Yes. The host can delete any photo from the gallery or take it off the live canvas at any time.
How long are photos kept?
Free events keep the gallery for 30 days; paid plans for 90 days to a year. Download everything before then, or delete the event yourself whenever you like.
What resolution are the photos?
Guests shoot at the phone’s camera resolution with a film look applied; you can download the originals from the gallery.
Plans & payment
How much does it cost?
Free for up to 10 cameras. Paid plans are one-off per event: Small Group RM19 (30 cameras), Medium Event RM49 (100), Large Event RM129 (300) and Festival RM249 (800).
What if we don’t use all our cameras?
Each plan covers one event only. Cameras and shots that aren’t used by the time the camera closes (48 hours after the last day) expire with the event. They can’t be refunded, moved to another event or saved for later. Not sure how many you need? Start on Free and upgrade during the event if more guests arrive: you only pay the difference.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once per event. Upgrade from the dashboard any time; you only pay the difference from your current plan.
How can I pay?
Card, FPX online banking and other local methods, securely through Stripe. Have a promo code? Enter it when you pick a plan.
What if more guests turn up than I planned?
A few extra guests can join on the house, you’re emailed as you near the limit, and you can upgrade in a minute, even mid-event.
